Works complete at Dumfries Access for All

Passengers can now benefit from step-free access to both platforms at Dumfries Station, marking the end of a 9-month project to improve accessibility.

Following final inspections, the new lifts were brought into service and opened to the public. Previous to this, the new footbridge structure was installed using a 500-tonne crane and a 110-tonne crane to lift it into place.
