#TeamStory support Barrow Reading Challenge

Earlier this year #TeamStory were delighted to support the Barrow Library and Archives ‘Summer Reading Challenge’, donating a Kindle Fire to one young reader.
The Summer Reading Challenge happens every year, challenging local children to read six books of their choice over the summer to receive awards and prizes as they go.
Lauren Martin, Librarian, said: “The main aim of the challenge is to promote reading and the Kindle will encourage the children after the Challenge is finished.
“Usually we only have one tablet for the entire county of Cumbria to give away, so this donation has enabled us to award it to a local child in the Barrow district.”
The donation is part of Story Contracting’s commitment to inspire future generations and raise aspirations in the regions #TeamStory live and work.
