Story Contracting has been appointed by Network Rail to join the new Eastern Routes Partnership (ERP) through the railway’s new Control Period 7 (CP7).

Story has been awarded an integral place on the framework, joining Amco, BAM and Morgan Sindall in a core partnership team to deliver Building & Civils projects over the next five years, with the option to renew for a further five years from 2029 (CP8).

The ERP will champion collaboration and efficiency, bringing together Network Rail and partners to drive value for money and save time.

Andy Joy, CEO, said: “We are absolutely delighted with this framework win, which gives great opportunities for our business, our people and our supply chain. This award, in addition to the frameworks in North West and Central, also means we can recruit new talent to our business at all levels and bring the next generation of the team to Story. We will also continue our strong presence in our communities, working with local and regional partners to deliver sustainable projects to enhance the areas and environment we work in”
