As part of our commitment to sustainable and clean energy in Scotland, Story Contracting is proud to announce that it has become a member of Scottish Renewables. The aim of the network is to work together to grow Scotland’s renewable energy sector, create job opportunities, deliver social benefits and reduce the carbon emissions which cause climate change.

Claire Mack, Chief Executive – Scottish Renewables commented on the membership: “We are delighted to welcome Story to Scottish Renewables, a partnership which will help us to understand more about their unparalleled track record in delivering major infrastructure projects as well as boosting our supply chain membership.”

“We have regular, active conversations with colleagues at Story relating to the huge future pipeline of renewables here in Scotland. They work with our other supply chain members focussing on the technology, innovation and build-out skills that will be required to accelerate the development of new renewables sites to support Scotland’s net-zero ambitions.”

John MacArthur, Managing Director – Story Scotland added: “We are delighted to join Scottish Renewables. We are on an exciting journey in both Scotland and the wider industry to make a real difference with the opportunities clean energy brings us. There has never been a more important time for engineers to play their part in creating a more sustainable Scotland.”
