Story awarded Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award

Story Contracting are proud to receive the prestigious Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Award from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for its support and continued commitment to the Armed Forces community.
The award is the highest recognition presented to organisations that demonstrate their support to the Armed Forces and inspire others to do the same.
As a Gold award winner, Story has shown it actively communicates and upholds a positive stance for employees who are veterans, Reservists and Cadet Force Adult volunteers, as well as spouses and partners of those serving in the Armed Forces.
Story has over 45 veterans and reservists in its Armed Forces community, and they are supported through a number of policies and initiatives designed to support their continued service, while making transition from service personnel to employee as smooth as possible.
Simon Higgens, Business Development Director for Story, commented: “We are honoured to have received ERS Gold Award status, a proud moment for us as we receive recognition for the endeavours we undertake as a business to support the armed forces community.”
